We built this site with AI.
The webharu.com you are looking at right now was built with AI (Claude Code). The design, the coding, the migration of the articles — all of it.a company that only says “we can build sites with AI”anda company that actually does it on its own site— we publish the entire process so you have something real to judge by when you decide which one to hire.
* All figures come from the actual git history (2026-07-08 to 2026-07-10). The three days are the build itself; including planning and strategy, the whole thing took seven days. Because it is our own site, there was no back-and-forth over requirements or approvals, which is why it moved this fast. For client work, AI Website Production takes one to two weeks, and an original-design site takes roughly 1.5 to 2 months because requirements and reviews are built in.
What we did in those three days.
Design, and all 26 pages built in one pass
Sitemap → page structure → design mockups (generated as HTML by the AI, reviewed by a human) → implementation in Astro. The cherry-blossom effect on the top page and the scroll-drawn lettering were also implemented by the AI on that day.
Content migration, plus the analytics and form foundation
Scraped 62 posts and 24 case studies out of the old Webflow site and migrated them, image optimization included. Set up the GA4 and Clarity analytics foundation, four forms wired to Google Apps Script, and structured data.
SEO, speed, and new pages including this one
Font subsetting, sitemap and llms.txt (a site guide for AI). The AI then mass-produced acquisition pages — app development, calculators, a glossary, comparison pages — and the page you are reading now was written by the AI too.
What the AI did. What the human did.
Saying “all of it was AI” would be a lie. Here is how the work was actually divided — and that division is exactly what decides the quality of AI-built work.
What the AI (Claude Code) handled
- Generating design mockups as HTML (several options)
- Coding every page (Astro, animations included)
- Extracting, converting and migrating post and case-study data
- Structured data, SEO settings, performance tuning
- Investigating and fixing bugs, checking the rendering on real devices
What the human (Kurita, the founder) handled
- Deciding the concept and structure (what the site is there to say)
- The aesthetic call on design — if that is where it falls short, we do it again
- Fact-checking the copy, and the sales calls (pricing, how it is presented)
- Reviewing each stage and giving the go-ahead
In short:the AI does the doing, the human does the deciding. Because a person who has kept writing Webflow guides and has been particular about design can concentrate purely on review, the speed of AI and the quality of a human hold together.
