ADDress

ADDress is Japan's home-subscription service enabling multi-base living. It has a member referral program; plans change monthly and tickets keep for two years.

Hi, I'm Masato. I've actually lived multi-base across Japan for a year using ADDress (Japan's co-living subscription service) — and I'm still a member, continuing through 2026.

If I ever cancel, this article disappears with my membership. If you can read this, the referral code is live. The official rules state there's no limit on referral count, so use it freely.

The ¥20,000 coupon

That's the official referral program. The reward varies with your joining plan, and claiming takes under a minute — there's no reason not to. Have a friend who's already a member? Use their referral and you both benefit.

If not, you're welcome to join through mine. Referrals are unlimited and benefit me too, so no hesitation needed. The official page doesn't prohibit blog or social referrals, so this isn't abuse — though one person claiming repeatedly is, so please don't.

The official referral terms

• The referral completes when the new member's first payment clears; a gift card ships around the end of the following month
• The referrer must be a member, house manager, or staff at that time
• Rejoining members must be 1+ year past their cancellation date
• Combined discounts may not apply depending on other campaigns
• Applies only when the contract completes without leaving the site after arriving via the referral URL
• Applications after the first payment completes are not accepted
• The program may change or end without notice

I remain a member through 2026 with no plans to quit. If I leave, this article gets deleted with me — so if you're reading it, I'm still in!

Questions I put to ADDress officially

Q: Can the coupon apply after registering?

A: It used to, before first use of the paid service.

But that was two years ago — as of March 2024, the terms added "applications after the first payment completes are not accepted." No discounts after paying; be careful.

Q: Any downside to using the coupon?

A: None whatsoever.

I asked ADDress support directly whether coupon use carries any downside or service restriction. The answer: none. Not using it is pure loss — use it.

A travelers' community

I circled Japan with ADDress in 2022, then toured Asia, and recently moved to Thailand.
